St NIcholaos and back

Just returned form a bicycle ride. It took a bit longer than I thought it would since I figured by the time I had reached Basilika village.. I might as well continue to St Nicholas ..to check out what our summer-hang out looks like this time of the year..

So the hour I planned to be away turned into three but it was well worth it. The view up there, the mountains and sea..no words..it's amazing!! Time slike these I really LOVE living on this Island. The steep climb going there turns into a speedway on the way back. Adrenaline kick Im telling you!

- Far right is the small church St. Nicholas (Agios Nikolaos)
-Far left is "our beach". It looked kinda deserted and dirty this time of year. Here you see what it looks like in the summer tho.

Unfortunately I won't be going there much this summer as I will be working split shifts in the office. So my swimming I will try to squeeze in between work shifts, which means Kalamaki beach.

But I don't really mind swimming with the turtles so I'm not complaining...
