Beachseason

We spent an hour or so on the beach today. Sunbathed with leggings on and a bikini top. My toes touched the water and immediatley some healthy signals messaged my logical part of the brain that I wasn't quite ready for a dip yet. Nik has no such signals connected to his brain, which is why he swam around for about half an hour in the freezing bay. Sometimes I wonder if he has any healthy signals at all. ..

I sunbathed and played "catch the bottle "with Brownie, aboring game I invented in lack of lecture. As children are easily amused, she found herself in paradise however, being on the beach with her caretakers, which she showed her appreciation for by taking a dump in three different spots. Luckily, she chose to wait until any passers-by had disappeared. And it wasn't a very crowded strip we occupied, no in fact we where the only sun worshipers on the 10 km long beach.

Of course we where the only ones..its the middle of March which means the Greeks are still walking around in boots and winter jackets. Despite the thermometer showing above 20 C at noon.

I had missed the suns warming rays onto my northern skin. I felt pale, and slightly chubby tho where I sat leaned back against the brick wall. Frying. Thats a First-day -on- the- beach-symptom i guess. It takes time getting used to walking around showing your fermented flesh around after a long winter. A few more weeks and ill be ready, my flesh will be ready.

My pale skin absorbed the sun like a dry sponge in water which means u ´ll have a hard time telling me apart from smoked salami right now.
