Home exam..always leads me astray, into paths of thought ...
In the second year of high school, I believe it was in social science class while we were learning about ideologies. I chose to write about the syndicalist movement while a class mate of mine chose radical feminism as topic. That is when she came upon a Manifest written by a young lady called Valerie Solanas. We laughed at the wicked theories of Ms. Solanas, but where at the same time thrilled over the radical thoughts printed in the infamous and ill-famed manifest.
The SCUM manifest it is called. Short for Society For Cutting Up Men. In a double sense. This woman wanted to literally extinct the poor bastards known as men..and cut them open dissecting their inner beings. Wicked. Very wicked.
Except for writing that manifest, Valerie became known as the crazy woman who shot Andy Warhol. Andy survived but never became himself again.
Valerie died but wasn't forgotten. She stirred around in the head of a searching teenager. And she planted a seed. A slumbering seed however.. That has awoken..
It awoke again after reading a crazy book called Penetration. It is by one of my favorite authors Unni Drougge.
It´s about Maximilian, a horny artist who .. In the name of art does a radical thing to himself.
He does it because he can´t stand being who he is as a man. He can never understand female logic, or lack of logic and willpower as he says, he just wants to have sex with them.
So he cuts off his own dick.
It´s the best thing he has done.
It´s the best book I have read.
Valerie Solanas is mentioned in the book. Maximilian reads her manifest.
I was reminded.
And the seed sprouted...muah muah muah
