Im so glad we finally decided to make Berlin our holiday destination. Nik gets his longed for vacations and I get to bring him to the coolest city I have ever been in my life. Two years ago I made a field trip to this cultural capital of Europe and unfortunately, half the time, we where busy with project work. I remember thinking back then how much I wanna bring him there! ANd finally we get o go. Get away a bit from mother and father in laws, chickens and cats.

Will be staying in Kreuzberg, close to the east center this time, which is of course the only place to stay if you have a tad of hipness running through your vains. And If you're into baklava, halva and all that Turkish and Greek stuff. From what I remember, Kreutzberg has a very "international" air to it, literally speaking.
Anyone that has ever visited this systaltic city, knows that Pentzlauger Berg, Kreutzberg and the obvious shopping in Freidrischstrasse (mind you I cannot spellin German) are not to be missed either. which is why I wont this time.
Another spot I wont miss this time is the Ramones museum, the only one of its kind in the world, well at least in Europe.
....feel I cant really hide my excitement..The Berlin film festival is on those days!! aaahhhhhhh

Will be good . ANyone wanan join us there or meet up for a German Weisse, Hels or Pils!
Just give me a shout! (I have a feeling it is highly unlikely that anyone will, but hey its never too late to be optimistic)
We will be there from 10th to 18th if Feb!
