Welcome

So here I am again..
The trip went smooth.. The fear of paying overweight charges came true unfortunatley..It was a difficult situation to talk myself out of..or smile for that matter..12 kg overweight is difficult to cover with a smile..so I smiled at the lady (which I had strategically chosen to check in with since she looked the least threatening) when shei informed me my bag weighed 32 kg..no reason to be a bitch i figured..and i payed the 10 euro per kg without hesitation..I thought..soon is the end of following rules and adjusting to the system..soon i'll beinGreece, where everything is possible.

I had smoothly checked in on my flight the night before as this gave me the possibility to choose a seat with legspace to stretch my 185 on.. I picked the seat in the middle and was excited to see who my fellow travelmates would be. Turns out its two Danish women. One around 35 and the other in her mid 50's. The older one chatted me up immediatley and I felt I had to include the younger one in the conversation. I thanked my 4 months in Denmark which made me understand pretty much everything they were saying. Very nice ladies..pleasant company. Ony thril during flight was that I thought I had lost my wallet in which i kept 600 euro in cash (stupid yes I know..) I emptied my two handluggage bags twice without finding anything. Stressed out I called the airhostess and asked he to call security to see if I had lost my wallet when going through the checkpoint. The older women comforted me and said that the wallet would turn up.. I wasn''t so sure. The air hostess came back with a negative answer. no wallet. shit. My ususal luck.

The older woman told me to look through my laptop bag once more..ande even if I thought it useless I followed her advice. As if magic..the wallet appeared in an inside pocket of that bag..i really don't understand how I could have missed it twice..Releaved I sunk back ..tilted my head bacwards and had a dream about giving birth to a baby boy with a mans face..my mans face!!! Freaky dream. I'm sure Freud would be thrilled to analyse it.

Landed in Athens and was greeted by Nik and his cousin Tasos. Was a happy reunion as I hadn't seen Nik for 2 months and Tasos for almost 10..
I was in Greece now. It was obvious. Tasos was looking more at Nik next to him than the road when driving, we almost had three accidents as other drvers are looking at other things than the road aswell. We screamed "malaka" to at least two of them..and we were smoking cigarettes in the car (me being the exception). It was hot in the car and even though it was equipped with A/C.noone saw a reason to actually use it. WIndows wide open..hot air aginst my face..and Greece was saying..welcome back.
