The dog we hit with the car the other day has been barking in my dreams the past two nights ( the dog survived without an injury and left the scene with the tail between his legs) I still can't help to wonder if he suffered internal damages and later died a painful death? Nik is insomniac..and he woke me up with the light from the TV. I craved grilled chicken like a supermodel on protein diet. The dogs in Kalamaki barked, reminding me once again of the unlucky one we hit, and I asked Nik if he thought of the dog as dead or alive. It's alive and fine was the answer and in that instance the barking stopped.

Nightly conversations is my expertise. When I was a kid, my mom used to say I talked more in my sleep than when I was awake. And yes, that was true for my young years. There's nothing like waking up in the middle of the night, babbling away and laughing with your second half. When we are old and gray..maybe that's all we will be able to do...
