Mrs Brown the V
Her name is Mrs. Brown. She is the fifth animal me and Nik have taken under our wing during my 9 month Greece period..In the beginning it was Joe the black kitten, then Rory the infant, after that Marko the chicken includning his family consisting of brother Marko Jr and "the Egg Marc", Phyllis the blind cat, and last in row was Rosa garbage cat..Theyre all gone..disappeard..all except rosa..she eats here when she feels like it..but she was mostly playing on our good will and weakness for sick animals, she needed us when she had all illnesses you could think of. We took her to the Vet,bathed her and gave her love and food, made her well and off she went..back into her roadside dumpster..the only world she relates to..
So Now theres Mrs Brown..and I think things will be different this time..Dogs are for real..they are forever..they are loyal and respact nothing less back..
I Found her on the beach where she had teamed up with pregnant female dog..I brought her food for three days and on the fourth she decided to join me home. I didnt have much choice really. Since I was on a morning power walk keeping up a good pace I thought she started sacking behind..when I turned around to see how far she had lagged I found her happily wagging her tail with something looking like a dead frog between her teeth. Disgusted (and not having a camera to take a pic of the dead critter) I picked up the doggie and carried her the remainig 2 km to the house..
The moment I picked her up in my arms,,,and she fell into a natural infant shape..I knew that there was no turning back.. As much as I regretted bringing her..I couldnt put her down again. I had made the commitment to take care of this litle brown thing made of skin and bones.
She now lives on our bedroom veranda..but is secrecy ( NIks mother happily unaware) accessing a soft bed under Niks bedside table during the past chilly nights.ALready undergoing basic clicker training and is showing real talent in guarding and tracking.
Probably born a stray and lived a stray for the 2, 5 months or so that she has been alive..she is now ours. No question about that.
