Back from Berlin..

..and if theres any easy way to assess the week in Germanys Capital without boring yall...I will do it.
In brief the week has been pretty much this...

1. Huge hotel breakfast..then
Walkin, walking, walking
Döööner kebab..? or hazelnut coffe in Balzac?
Both!
walking, seeing, photo stops..more photos
freezing
angry for choosing wrong shoes
grumpy me..grumpy NIk..coffee and sweet.
All good again.

Afernoon: hotel, hottest shower ever taken, bedrest half an hour
beer in hotelbar..
NIght spent in shabby kreuzberg bars..
suiting name of the first bar...MISFIT..it kinda implies what we felt like walking in there..was it Gay or just a happy hangout for fat middle aged laid off- rockers?
We never found out.

aching feet..better shoes today..

Loving ancient cultures ..Pergamont Museum..
loving commie history. DDR museum

cofee...pretzels...??
walk walk walk,,,
pizza..italioano..si.prego
beer.Pentzlauer berg Culturebrewery..then rock club which turned out being a strip joint.,
better luck next time I thought..couldn't have been more lucky Nik thought.


3. huge brakfast...

Shopping in Humana four story second hand comlex..not an item sold to a greek swedish couple that day..SO heading for the Potzdamer plats Arcade..
too much money spent..

some cool t-shirts

4. Berlin ZOO i beleive..since I cant stand to see depressed polar bears i refused..so the aquarium was a well spend 9 euro soluton..
some crazy freakin fishes there are out there!!



5. Potsdam neigbouring city..camera accidently thrown to the ground..whos fault? Noone knows...
consequence: No photos of the most fantastic architecture my eyes have seen.
Fredrick the II of Presussia, (yep him) had a thing for magnificent palaces..luckily noone aimed at those during the bombings of Potsam in 1945..still standing wide and proud..within the huge Sanssoucipark. WHich is where we spent the day wandering..cold but amazed

6. Commie monumet Treptower PArk,,without a camera created solid mind images..quaky experience considering is the burial place for 2000 soldiers..
To counter the commie actions we spent to hours in the headquarters of capitalism ..MediaMarkt in Alexander Platz center ALEX...a new Nikon was purchased..replacing the old brick that served so well so many years..

7... I headed for MITTE district for some desperate last minute purchases. For Nik mind images arent enough which is why he went back to where his camrades were buried and rememebred.,to the Soviet monument in Treptower Park for some photos of that place..

SUch a great week..and we did so much more..just cant remember..
